Yesterday I reproofed the canvas on the Bowtop it was a glorious day, today's wet and horrible, the stove it lit and the kettle is on the boil for a brew. The inside has been all cleaned and is ready to go. Can you tell I'm starting to get itchy feet to set off.

In preparation for my horse drawn journey to the old famous Appleby Horse Fair in Cumbria I have setup this blog to post daily if I can get a Wi-Fi connection and keep you all posted on our journey.
My new horse Peggy is a big solid 15.2 hands and has just been broken in to the shafts this April and is proving to be a good horse, the video is Peggy pulling the chain harrows getting ready to go in the shafts back in March.
Buster who pulled last year will be staying at home for a few weeks break from offering carriage driving lessons at our farm, the photo's are from last years journey
